대한방사선방어학회와 방사선안전기술연구센터가 공동주최하는 ‘11th International Symposium On Radiation Safety and Detection technology(이하 ISORD-11)’의 일환으로 7월 6일 한국원자력의학원 시설견학을 진행했다.

On 6th July, technical tour at Korea Institute of Radiological and Medical Sciences was conducted as part of 'The 11th International Symposium on Radiation Safety and Detection Technology (hereinafter ISORD-11)' which was co-hosted by Korean Association for Radiation Protection and Innovative Technology Center for Radiation Safety.

이번 한국원자력의학원 시설견학 프로그램에는 오사카대학교(일본), 중국과학기술대학교(중국), 중국방사선방호연구원(중국), 원자력연구원(한국)를 포함한 학계, 연구계, 산업계 등에서 약 30명이 참여한다. 이들은 한국원자력의학원 방사선치료 및 핵의학 관련 진료 및 연구시설을 둘러보며 한국의 선진 방사선의학 기술을 확인하는 시간을 가졌다.

Around 30 people from a range of sectors including academic institutes and research centers such as Osaka University (Japan), University of Science and Technology of China(China), China Institute of Radiation Protection(China) and Atomic Energy Research Institute (Korea), participated in the technical tour program of Korea Institute of Radiological and Medical Sciences. The participants had the opportunity to take a look at medical and research facilities in relation to radiation therapy and nuclear medicine and delved into Korea's advanced radiological technology.
